In the News: Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award

Our CEO Evelyne Pflugi is a finalists of the 40th Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award that recognizes trailblazing female entrepreneurs! It honors the life of Madame Clicquot who was a pioneer of her time. Widowed in October 1805, she took on her late husband’s champagne business, led it to success for 61 years, and sparked several industry innovations on the way. As the only candidate from the finance sector, Evelyne has dedicated her entrepreneurial life to innovation and embodies all values the award stands for.

She
💃 promotes female leadership by being a role model in the still very male dominated finance industry and spearheading a predominantly female team,

💡reinvented investment traditions while raising industry standards and at the same time reducing risks,

🚀 demonstrated entrepreneurial daring by launching an investment boutique during a time when investors almost entirely focused on tech and had given up on active investing, leading TSG through crises like the pandemic, a war, and inflation collecting more than USD 100 mm in assets on the way while large established peers faced billions of outflows,

🌱 and upholds ethical standards by creating an investment strategy that contributes to solving the biggest problems of our time through focusing on Applied Innovation: the kind that moves the world.

Evelyne stands alongside nominees Isabel Bischof and Dr. Mara Catherine Harvey. The winner will be announced during an awards ceremony on September 18. We are proud of our very own bold woman already!
